Water and Human


Water, which constitutes a large part of our body and is the basic building block, is vital for our lives to continue. In addition to many biological and chemical functions such as removing toxic substances from the body, adjusting the body temperature, supporting digestion, and performing cell functions, water also has an important place in protecting the skin health and aesthetic beauty of people.


Although approximately 75% of the earth is covered with water, only less than 3% is a source of potable fresh water. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reach all of these sources. Although it varies depending on the nutritional values, age and metabolism of each person, the amount of water to be taken additionally varies between 1.5-2 liters per day on average. In order to cover this water need, people use various water-containing foods such as tap water, purified water, alkaline water, coffee, soup, tea, natural mineral water or spring water in parallel with their culture, habits, and traditions. Natural mineral waters, which are among these products, have a special importance for human health since they contain minerals required for the ideal protection of metabolism and body balance in every period of human life.

Natural mineral water is a very valuable type of water that forms a reservoir there after the surface water such as rain or snow water leaks from various cracks and crevices on the surface to the depths of the earth's crust and is stored for many years, comes to the surface from the easiest way it finds under the effect of pressure or temperature change, and adds minerals from different rock surfaces that it comes into contact with when it comes out or during storage. However, if the necessary disinfection process is not carried out in the bottles before the storage of mineral water and other water types in plastic bottles, there will be a risk of contamination that will adversely affect human health.
